A 7-year-old Facebook feature is being phased out

Social media platform from Facebook 2015 to end the contagious Instant Articles feature next year.

According to media reports, technology company Meta, whose subsidiary company wants to tell Facebook that the main reason for the move is insufficient usage.

 

According to a Facebook representative, less than three percent of Post news articles are currently linked. And at the beginning of this year, it was said that it is not appropriate for such business use to invest in things that are not a consumer preference.
Facebook plans to retire the Instant Articles feature in mid-April 2023. There are about 37 thousand pages that are using this feature.

Note that users consume articles 4.9 times faster than web browsers on iPhone or Android devices.
